Jeannie

It’s been close to two months since I’ve moved into my new apartment. I’ve enjoyed moving things around getting my stuff situated in a way that works for me. A few dilemmas arose when figuring out my dining room. I had a large, square table that sat six. It was by far, too big for my little dining room. And now, since I don’t entertain as much as I used to I decided to sell it and opt for something smaller. A bistro table has since replaced it and my dining room has been turned into a reading nook rather than a place where I dine. Now it’s perfect for me. I really do have to look at replacing the ceiling chandelier, but that is for later.

What I have been doing though is turning one of my closets into a desk/office space. I’ve always loved the idea of a closet office and now I have the chance to do it. So far I have not spent any money on it mainly because I’ve pulled items from around the home to make it. Right now I have a shoe organizer and a 6 cubed cubby from Target and a few 3 cubed shelves I had as a separator in the old apartment. As a desktop I found a freecycle piece of plywood that I had cut down to the right size. Now all I need to do is actually buy the paint and paint all the pieces the same color. That is the next bit of the project.
